Linky Alert! BLOG HOP with LambAround

No new (old) house yet.

Hmmm...what to do? WHAT TO DO???

On one hand, our current house is perfect, except for the neighborhood.

On the other hand, the prospective house is awful, except for the neighborhood.

(In other words, I would appreciate some advice from my genius blog readers!)

  1. I would go for the good neighborhood. It might take time to redo the house, but who wants to live where everything and everybody is a headache.

  2. It all depends upon what you want to work at. Neighborhoods sometimes change, house only change with a lot of work. :-)

  3. You have to keep in mind, though, that if the neighborhood really is bad, the value of houses will go down, and you'll be looking at receiving less money or having a hard time selling your house when you go to do so. If it has been getting bad and is only getting worse, I'd sell...but do you have to settle for the one other prospect? We're looking for a house right now, too, so I know finding prospects is hard, but I'd personally try not to settle if you don't have to...
