Amerisleep AS3 Reviews

My Amerisleep AS3 Unboxing Video (Surprise, my voice is ridiculous!) If I can (just barely) do it, you can totally tackle a bed-in-a-box by yourself. Updated 10/15/22 Amerisleep's AS5 was recently featured as the 'Best Soft Mattress in a Box' by Good Housekeeping , with the panel of reviewers noting: Pressure relief for side sleepers Taller than other boxed mattresses Good customer service    Amerisleep Mattress Reviews  We've been happy Amerisleep customers since purchasing our first AS3 mattress more than 9 years ago. Now we also have an AS2 and an AS4 (the AS3 is still our favorite). Born with chronic insomnia  (even as a baby - my family insists I was a nightmare), the struggle to improve my sleep is my life. My husband, the overly-analytical mechanical engineer, was initially skeptical of a mail-order mattress, but he was quickly won over. 2012: Wine glass test, sans wine. I was fairly confident our brand-new mattress would pass with f

Free Printable To Include With Your Christmas Cards - Sugar Cookie Bars

Here's a Christmas update of my popular recipe for Cake Mix Chocolate Chip Cookies , along with a free download to include with your holiday cards. I don't know about you, but the only way I'm going to get cards in the mail in time is to get started now... for Christmas, 2023. (Click the Image to Enlarge) I love this recipe! The key to these yummy, soft sugar cookie bars is not to over mix the batter. I slice them up into 24 cookies straight out of the oven with a pizza cutter. They're always gone by the end of the day! Who am I kidding? SN and I have the entire pan polished off within 30 minutes. Well, at least they're only sugar cookies , you think? Not that many calories, surely. We love to mix in chocolate chips. I had the image above printed at CVS as 4x6 photos and included one with each Christmas card we sent.

If I had to choose, I'd say Angel Fire is best if you're a cowboy at heart and Taos is best if you're mo

I Bought a Chayote. Now What?

I decided to try a chayote after seeing it on sale at my grocery store for only $0.50 each. I had no idea what to do with chayote (okay, I had no idea what a chayote even was!) and decided to cook it with another ingredient I never know what to do with, cauliflower. It turned out to be delicious! Recipe variation: For a more filling meal, toss the final product with buttered egg noodles. Kitchen Pig LOVES Sherry. He's a bit of a lush.   So healthy and pretty. Chayote with Cauliflower and Sherry Recipe Serves 3; Time to Make: 30 minutes This is such a yummy recipe. Don't omit the sherry - it's the best part! 1 chayote squash, cut into bite-size pieces, none more than 1/2 inch thick 1 cauliflower, cut into bite sized pieces 1 small onion, diced 2 tsp butter 2 tsp olive oil 1/4 C hot water 2 Tbsp italian seasoning Pinch of curry powder 1/8 C sherry Heat oil and butter in a large pan, preferably a wok with a lid Saute onion Add chayote a

Cream of Broccoli Soup - Instant Pot Recipe

The snow keeps falling on the NM mountains and Sexy Nerd and I keep craving soup. Our two Instant Pots are getting a workout. Seriously. This is my third soup post in a row. It's just that good. (Also seriously, I'd love for it to stop snowing. Some of us need to get to work.) (Not Sexy Nerd, whose employer likes him to stay home/stay safe in bad weather. Coming home the other night, I was stuck in a 3 hour (!!!) traffic jam caused by icy roads. It was the same day my XM radio trial ended because of course it was.) I've been perfecting my  Cream of Broccoli soup recipe . That one was good, but I wanted one that's vegetarian. I mean, Cream of Broccoli probably should be vegetarian, right?  That said, this would be sooo good with bacon. Cream of Broccoli Soup - Instant Pot Recipe Sexy Nerd doesn't even like soup and he keeps making this. Cream of Broccoli Soup ( Instant Pot  Recipe ) Serves 4 1 Can of Campbell's Cream of Mushro

Ham and Cheese Crepes Recipe

I slaved over these homemade crepes all day. Just kidding! My secret ingredient? Prepackaged crepes, which taste just as good, if not better, than homemade. Ham and Cheese Crepes For something so simple, don't these look so fancy? I have a fantastic recipe for you today. But first, behold the 50 calorie giant cookie...   Giant YUM! And only 1 measly gram of fat. Can you believe it? Best of all, with the help of your toaster oven, these mega-cookies crisp up in less than ONE minute! Prepackaged crepes, where have you been all my life? Of course, you can also devour these  Frieda's French Style Crepes (or other prepackaged crepes) as they are intended, with a fruit or mascarpone filling. It couldn't be easier to fancy up a crepe.  Filling them with chocolate chips and mini marshmallows before their party on the stove or in the toaster oven gives you smores crepes. Blueberries and whipped cream (skip the toaster oven!) is also yummy. But h

Cake Mix Pudding

Quick side note: Google is ridiculous. Did you know if you search ' cake mix pudding',  every result is for cake mixes that contain pudding and recipes on how to add pudding mix to a cake you are baking? When I think of CAKE MIX PUDDING, I want a pudding that tastes like cake mix. If you're like me, you've arrived at the right place. What's your favorite kind of cake? You can easily turn it into a delicious, no-bake pudding. Cake mix pudding! Just think of all the possibilities: Devil's Food pudding, Red Velvet pudding, Pumpkin pudding, Funfetti pudding, Strawberry pudding... Coffee Whipped Cream

You've surely seen the coffee whipped cream , also known as dalgona coffee, that is trending. It is popular for whipping equal parts instant coffee, water, and sugar into a thick glob.  I love to use this to enhance desserts, topping ice creams, puddings, cakes, and more with a creamy jolt of coffee flavor. In addition to being tastier than plain ol' dairy whipped cream, this is convenient because the ingredients are shelf stable. Perhaps best of all, coffee whipped cream is fat free, so you can totally indulge in a 3rd parfait! Coffee Whipped Cream So, how do you make Dalgona coffee AKA coffee whipped cream? It couldn't be simpler. In a coffee mug, add equal parts instant coffee and sugar. Add a pinch of your desired seasoning. Pour in a small amount of very hot coffee*. (Example: If you used 1 Tbsp of instant coffee and 1 Tbsp of sugar, you will all 1 Tbsp of very hot coffee.) Whisk everything with the milk frother. It should come together in only about 1

Homestyle Salad with Knorr Homestyle Stock Recipe

Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants. -Michael Pollan This salad recipe might make the second part of the above quote a bit tricky! Out of all the recipes I've made with Knorr Homestyle Stock, my favorite use for it is as a salad dressing. Specifically,  my  Homestyle Mayonnaise .  It's the perfect complement to an assortment of veggies, leaving even my carnivorous Sexy Nerd happy to have a salad for dinner. Best of all, it is 100% unique and unlike any dressing you've ever made or picked up at the store. It looks so healthy, right? That's because it is. This is boring potato salad's New York cousin. Potatoes...and sweet potatoes! Together forever. How hodgepodged is this salad? We're throwing in the celery leaves. We're peeling our cucumber with pretty stripes because we're fancy like that. And egg! And broccoli! Homestyle Salad with Homestyle Mayonnaise (Recipe Yield: 6 servings)(Total Time: 30 minutes, including prep)

Hello Fresh Complaints

Hello, my bloggy friends. I have a HelloFresh complaint and believe they are pulling a scam. Yours truly came *this close* to falling for it.  Maybe scam is too harsh of a word. Sneaky? You can decide for yourself. The fact that there are so many Hello Fresh complaints online does seem suspicious. Update:  Google is totally filling my site with Hello Fresh ads now, ugh. Also, since posting this  Hello Fresh complaints  article yesterday, I've already received this message from a reader: "I did order from Hello Fresh previously and was not charged what I was originally told (or thought I was told). Also, the food from them was anything but fresh and they refused to do a refund, only doing credit - even for the overcharges! So basically I ended up being out of money thanks to them." My main complaint about Hello Fresh has to do with their promotional rate, which seems like it is set up to be intentionally misleading (more on this below). Despite so many people complainin
