Here I am at my "2nd wedding", which was also to Sexy Nerd. (The first was in Hawaii so there were a lot of people who couldn't attend AKA one just wasn't enough for my mom.)  Sometimes, my best friends, Sarah (L) and Jessica (R) can be a little...odd. I've known both of them since elementary school and our friendship even survived my move from San Jose to Albuquerque at the end of 7th grade.   Fun gals!

(Or any cake, for that matter.) My cooking motto is "Patience Has No Place In My Kitchen". Allow to me demonstrate exactly what I mean. Impressed by that race car cake? Me too! But the talented blogger at The Speckled Freckle made it, not me. I knew I didn't have the attention span to make quite as elaborate a cake, but I figured that I could surely pull off a single loop cake for my Nascar fan's birthday. Surely! First, I got the cars nice and squeaky clean in my ultrasonic jewelry cleaner. Nothing says "Happy Birthday" like sneaking into your husband's office and stealing toy cars from his display case. My plan was to make the track out of brown frosting (crushed Thin Mints and cocoa powder), use mini marshmallows to line the track, and spread green frosting everywhere else. This has been an exciting week! I have oodles of new followers, courtesy of my fabulous SPICES giveaway (not to mention scrumptious Ramen Noodle recipe ). I have been insanely busy. According to my boss, I now work for her full time as an administrative assistant and part time as her website designer and SEO. This is great except that...how exactly should I put this...I have no idea how to be a website designer or SEO! *Sigh!* Without the handy Blogger tools or the Tripod Homepage Housekeeper, web design is kinda baffling.
