Amerisleep AS3 Reviews

My Amerisleep AS3 Unboxing Video (Surprise, my voice is ridiculous!) If I can (just barely) do it, you can totally tackle a bed-in-a-box by yourself. Updated 10/15/22 Amerisleep's AS5 was recently featured as the 'Best Soft Mattress in a Box' by Good Housekeeping , with the panel of reviewers noting: Pressure relief for side sleepers Taller than other boxed mattresses Good customer service    Amerisleep Mattress Reviews  We've been happy Amerisleep customers since purchasing our first AS3 mattress more than 9 years ago. Now we also have an AS2 and an AS4 (the AS3 is still our favorite). Born with chronic insomnia  (even as a baby - my family insists I was a nightmare), the struggle to improve my sleep is my life. My husband, the overly-analytical mechanical engineer, was initially skeptical of a mail-order mattress, but he was quickly won over. 2012: Wine glass test, sans wine. I was fairly confident our brand-new mattress would pass with f

An Ugly Scientist

Sexy Nerd and I recently discovered the awesomeness of The Office. The great thing about having never seen an episode until well into the series is that we have dozens of new episodes recorded. Last night, we watched the episode where Stanley is being disrespectful to Michael, asking "Did I stutter?" during an office meeting. In this episode, Pam has to wear her glasses after forgetting to bring her contact solution to a friend's house. In other words, no, there will be no photos of myself wearing my new glasses today. Courtesy of theofficequotes.com : Michael Scott: Alright everybody-- [noticing Pam's glasses] Oh. My. God. Pam. Those make you look so ugly. Uhh, Pam in order to get hotter you take the glasses off. You're moving in the wrong direction. Pam Beesly: I don't have my contacts-- Michael Scott: Dah, dah, dah. I can't even hear you. It's just noise coming out of an ugly scientist. Y

A Couple of Wimps

Last night, Sexy Nerd and I were talking about the scariest movie we have ever seen together. It was a while back and, although it was good, it really creeped us both out! If you're feeling brave, here it is: Eeeeep!   Sure, here it looks like your typical PG, family friendly movie. That's what they want you to think. Even the Coraline website is spooky!

Best in Show Nominees (Finally!)

This week, there were so many wonderful blogs linked up to the Not "Baaad" Sundays Linky that I had trouble whittling down a list of Best in Show nominees. Also, I was/am feeling lazy. For you though, my bloggy buddies, I have fought my sleepy, do-nothing-but-lounge-around-in-my-jammies mood long enough (just barely long enough) to announce my top picks. If your blog post was selected, I have 2 cute button choices for you:  And, in my best Academy Awards voice, the nominees are: Three Boys Cheri Quite Contrary The Bird's Papaya Dream Home DIY Kirsty Girl My Sweet and Savory Choose to Thrive Steep competition! The winner will be announced on Friday morning (I'm hoping to have all this laziness out of my system by then). Good luck!

Sooooo Lazy!

Best in Show nominees? Yaaaaawn! I've chosen the nominees and was going to post them this morning before work. Then, I was going to post them first thing after work. Then, I was going to post them right after I got home from picking up my glasses (my first pair of glasses e ver !) The nominees will be announced Tuesday morning...I'm fairly certain ;) On a side note, I never realized just how horrible my vision was. I finally made an eye appointment after Sexy Nerd said he wasn't going to read the McDonalds menu to me anymore. Now that I can see, I can't believe I didn't get glasses sooner. I just looked out our bedroom window and the lights from the city are hundreds of individial little dots, not just a blur of white and yellow like they've always been. Amazing. On another side note, a photo with my fancy new glasses (J. Lo brand - aren't I cool?) may or may not be coming soon. I'm still coming to terms with my nerdy look (not to mention that m
