Kitchen with White Cabinets and Red Brick

After anxiously waiting for construction to end for more than a year and a half, we moved into our mountain dream home and lived happily ever after. Ha ha ha ha ha. Six months in, this place is still construction central! Biscuit is walking away in frustration. SN built the kitchen island. It only needs to be stained and it will be finished. But before he can stain it (for some reason), he must first install a brick backsplash. He must also do these things before he can complete the complicated matter of installing any toilet paper holders. No, not even one. That's right. You think we're here living the dream in our fancy mansion, but little did you know we are storing our toilet paper rolls on the back of each toilet like animals . In SN's defense, he has also been busy diligently replanting trees, installing light fixtures, and creating an ingenious tennis ball system in the garage. Oh, and remember our Amerisleep   Superbed , in all its excessive glory?

10 Canned Cinnamon Roll Hacks

You're in for a treat. Today I'm sharing my best canned cinnamon roll hacks and improvements for turning store-bought cinnamon rolls, like the Pillsbury Grands ones or even the store brand, into something special.  Dry cinnamon rolls? No thank you. They need to be OOEY and GOOEY. That's just Cinnamon Roll 101. All of these ideas keep Pillsbury canned cinnamon rolls soft, company-worthy, and delicious. These are also great for taking homemade cinnamon rolls up a notch, but what a pain that is. With these better-than-homemade canned cinnamon roll hacks, you'll never bother to bake them from scratch again. Test out some of these ideas tomorrow. Won't it be nice to dig into a mouthwatering cinnamon roll for breakfast? You can't get a better start to your day than that. Canned Cinnamon Roll Hacks Actually, make that 11 easy ways to improve store-bought cinnamon rolls: you can top them with homemade coffee whipped cream . Yum! Nope, make that 12 canned cinnam

Amerisleep AS2

Amerisleep Promo Code : Save $250 with 'KITTY' at checkout Update: We've been sleeping on our new Amerisleep AS2 for several months. SN still loves it and insists he can't tell any difference between it and our AS3, but I much prefer the AS3. The AS2 is too hard! It also transfers motion more than the AS3 and pulls you toward where your spouse is sleeping if you get too close to them. So, we're doing another switcheroo! Our brand-new AS2 is going into the guest bedroom and our 6+ years old (though still like-new) AS3 is going to return to its rightful place as the master bed. I love Amerisleep's AS3 bed! You may recall watching me unbox two new Amerisleep mattresses about a month ago. They were a twin-size AS2 and twin AS4 and the plan was to place them side-by-side to create a super comfy king mattress that was firm on my husband's side and soft on mine. But guess what?   Though this new mattress is twice the size of the last one, the box wasn

Extra-Large King Mattress

Look! Up In The Sky! It's a Bird. It's a Plane. It's... (cue suspenseful music) DUN NAH NUH What's bigger than a king-size Amerisleep mattress? An Amerisleep Superbed! As you know, my nerdy engineer husband, SN, and I recently ordered two new twin XL mattresses from Amerisleep. The AS4 bed didn't work out for us (too soft and mushy for our taste) but we loved the extra-firm AS2 bed. It's perfect for people who sleep on their back (SN) and on their stomach (me).  SN liked it even better than the AS3 bed we'd slept on since 2012 and I thought it was at least equal to that mattress, which is now making our relatives happy in the guest bedroom. The AS2 costs a little less than the AS3 and a lot less than the AS4. Who would have thought the less expensive option would be the better choice, right? Money really doesn't buy happiness. (Okay, in all honesty, I think I prefer the AS3 just a hair over the AS2. Your first choice is usually the
