I was stunned to see this deal on Groupon this morning but for some reason didn't think to share it here until tonight when I was telling Sexy Nerd about it. For just $7, you can get 24 Kerrigan's sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, or a dozen of each kind, and shipping is included! According to the site, Kerrigan's Cookies uses only wholesome, organic ingredients. It's a pretty remarkable deal when you think about it. I think Groupon keeps some crazy amount of your purchase for themselves, like 50%, so it's hard to imagine that Kerrigan's Cookies isn't losing money on this promotion. Wouldn't the shipping alone be at least $7?

To get the deal:
1. Visit Groupon and sign in or create an account.
2. Click the link for Raleigh, North Carolina (and, no, you don't have to live in Raleigh to buy this!)
3. The Kerrigan's Cookies offer is a side deal today, so you'll find it on the right hand side of the page.

You're allowed to purchase up to 5 of these groupons and they don't expire until August. Just think of all the things coming up before August - Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, 4th of July. Not to mention all the birthdays, anniversaries, and year-end gifts for teachers.

Hello Fresh Complaints

Hello, my bloggy friends. I have a HelloFresh complaint and believe they are pulling a scam. Yours truly came *this close* to falling for it. Maybe scam is too harsh of a word. Sneaky? You can decide for yourself. The fact that there are so many Hello Fresh complaints online does seem suspicious. Update: Google is totally filling my site with Hello Fresh ads now, ugh. Also, since posting this Hello Fresh complaints article yesterday, I've already received this message from a reader: "I did order from Hello Fresh previously and was not charged what I was originally told (or thought I was told). Also, the food from them was anything but fresh and they refused to do a refund, only doing credit - even for the overcharges! So basically I ended up being out of money thanks to them." I'm happy to report that my research on Snopes and other sites has shown that these do not explode, at least not when used properly. There is a lawsuit between a woman in Texas and the Instant Pot manufacturer, but she admits she had thrown a towel over the steam vent. Do NOT do this. Still concerned?
