My Amerisleep AS3 Unboxing Video (Surprise, my voice is ridiculous!) If I can (just barely) do it, you can totally tackle a bed-in-a-box by yourself. Updated 10/15/22 Amerisleep's AS5 was recently featured as the 'Best Soft Mattress in a Box' by Good Housekeeping , with the panel of reviewers noting: Pressure relief for side sleepers Taller than other boxed mattresses Good customer service Amerisleep Mattress Reviews We've been happy Amerisleep customers since purchasing our first AS3 mattress more than 9 years ago. Now we also have an AS2 and an AS4 (the AS3 is still our favorite). Born with chronic insomnia (even as a baby - my family insists I was a nightmare), the struggle to improve my sleep is my life. My husband, the overly-analytical mechanical engineer, was initially skeptical of a mail-order mattress, but he was quickly won over. 2012: Wine glass test, sans wine. I was fairly confident our brand-new mattress would pass with f
Inspired by Passionate Penny Pincher, I decided to maximize my Walgreens deals this week, sans the diapers she had purchased. They are a great price and I'm sure one day I'll wish I'd bought them, but for now, baby-free, it just seemed too weird to buy a package of Huggies! Several drafts and alternate spending scenarios were required for this. You can't just walk into Walgreens willy nilly - that's how they get you!
Here was my plan of attack, factoring in the annoying Walgreens rule that requires an equal or greater amount of items purchased to number of coupons:

The Omega Smart is an especially good deal. You get 60 pills and the regular price listed on the shelf is about $30! Altogether, I spent $10.75 out of pocket for the 9 items purchased. Not too shabby!
FYI, Sexy Nerd whined the entire 10 minutes we spent at Walgreens. Guys just don't understand the fun of extreme couponing, I guess. Next up, Cost Plus World Market! I never go without a coupon. Click here for a $10 off a $30 purchase coupon.
Here is what I bought and their post-coupon totals:
Rice Vinegar: $2.05
World Market EVOO, 2L: $4.80 (Cost Plus also sells a 2L plastic bottle of olive oil that sometimes goes on sale for just slightly more, but the past 2 bottles I've bought have gone rancid before we've been able to use them.)
Chili Oil: $1.71
Organic Miso Hoisin Sauce: $1.72
Plastic Squeeze Bottle (so handy!): $0.68
Sesame Oil: $2.74
Cost Plus also had the cutest cheese serving set ever (did you click the link? Isn't it so cute?!) but I decided to save it for my next $10 off coupon.
So, who else out there scored some snazzy deals over the weekend? Did you buy 40 boxes of pasta? 20 pounds of spaghetti sauce that you've never tried before? Thrifty minds want to know!
