We're home from our Las Vegas getaway and had an amazing time. Let's begin with the highlight of our trip - the food! We booked a hotel package that included two Buffet of Buffets passes.
That's right - 24 hours of nonstop Vegas buffets! My goal was to eat at all 6 that are included with the Buffet of Buffets Pass.
Unfortunately, we didn't factor in the heavy surcharges (on top of the already expensive pass?!) required to dine at 2 of the 6 or the absurdly long lines. Unless you're extremely patient and are okay with paying at least $50 more per person, you're not going to make it to all 6 buffets.

A. The Buffet of Buffets Pass provides unlimited entry to 6 Las Vegas buffets, including Flavors The Buffet, Le Village Buffet, and Spice Market Buffet, for 24 hours.
Q. How much is the Buffet of Buffets Pass?
A. $59.99 per person Sunday-Thursday and $74.99 per person Friday-Saturday. Entry to the Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace requires an upgrade, which is $25 for brunch and lunch and $35 for dinner. Carnival at Rio also has a $25 surcharge.
Q. Is the Buffet of Buffets Pass worth the cost?
A. Probably not. Even if you plan to eat at 2 Las Vegas buffets within 24 hours, you may be money ahead without a Buffet of Buffets pass. The Paradise Garden Buffet at Flamingo is $31.99 per person for dinner and only open Fridays and Saturdays. If you ate there two nights in a row, you would still spend less than the Buffet of Buffets Pass.
Las Vegas has some of the best dining options in the world, so why limit yourself to only buffets? Even worse, although many Las Vegas buffets include alcohol to help justify their high price, dining with the Buffet of Buffets Pass does not include any alcoholic drinks. That said, if you can score a free or heavily discounted Buffet of Buffets Pass as a promotion with your hotel room, enjoy it!
My scrumptious sundae from Harrah’s Flavors The Buffet. My friend recently ate at the same buffet and didn't really care for it, but the extensive sundae bar made it one of my favorites. We actually hit this one up twice, once for dinner and another time for breakfast.

Desserts from the Spice Market Buffet at Planet Hollywood
This trip to Las Vegas was better than last time. Previously, we visited the now-closed Lago buffet in Caesar's Palace, which used to be included with the Buffet of Buffets Pass, and wished we'd skipped it. The food was mediocre and the service was appalling. We waited in line for more than an hour.
Oh, they must just have been so popular and delicious that of course there was a wait, right? Wrong! When we finally got inside, we were shocked by all the empty tables. It seemed that whoever was in charge that day simply didn't feel like working very hard. Or perhaps they didn't think they were receiving enough money from Buffet of Buffet Pass customers. Why else would you keep the restaurant only half full with an hour wait?

Next, we hit the Spice Market buffet inside the Planet Hollywood casino. No line! No photos either. Sadly, I didn't think to take any until we were leaving. Eating at 3 buffets within 4 hours must do something kooky to your brain.
Wanting to get the most bang for our buck (can you still say this when your passes are free with your hotel stay?), I insisted we swing by the Paradise Garden Buffet at Flamingo. I hadn't read great reviews of it, but the line was right (as in, no line whatsoever).
Sexy Nerd didn't want to go. He said he was full and that he would just watch me eat. Fine by me. At our table, he said he was so stuffed that I was crazy to even think about eating any more. He got up to find a drink.
