Wisdom Teeth & UPS

I can't sleep! True, it is only 9:36pm, but I want to go to sleep now!

I called my dentist today to set up an appointment for a filling and they said - lucky me - they can get me in first thing in the morning. Lol, at work I tell paranoid parents every day that getting a filling is absolutely no big deal, but I don't want one! I was kinda hoping they would get me in sometime next year. Better to get it taken care of, I guess. The cavity is on a wisdom tooth, which I have decided to keep instead of having pulled. If I end up having a filling AND later having it extracted, I'm going to be a bit annoyed. I hope my dentist doesn't do a half-assed job on the filling. He thinks I should just have my wisdom teeth extracted.
I started reading a new book called Something Borrowed, which is about a girl who sleeps with her pregnant best friend's fiance. It had good reviews, but so far it is just boring, (not boring enough to put me to sleep though! Rats!) At least the Shopaholic movie should be out soon!

My MBTs (Masai Barefoot Technology shoes - or, at $159, Money Banishment Tools) will be here tomorrow! Technically they are already here in Albuquerque, but stupid UPS won't let me have them. They arrived this morning. I called and spent forever trying to figure out how to get a real person on their phone line, ("I can connect you to a representative, but first select one of the following four options"..."I'm sorry that did not answer your question. Please select from one of the following four options. Or, if you are finished, please hang up".)(Bastards!) When I finally got a real person on the line, she said I can't pick up my package because it's at their main facility. I said I can go to the facility. She said I can, but not until they have at least one unsuccessful delivery attempt tomorrow. Honestly, wouldn't providing a self pick-up option save them money on delivery time and fuel? I want to show off my snazzy new shoes at the dentist tomorrow!

If you buy through my link, that would be swell because then I'll get a referral bonus that I can use toward purchasing other memory foam products for the house we're about to break ground on hopefully any day nowwe're finally building (!!!), so placing your order through my link would be so helpful, especially as we're a bit (a lot!) over budget already. A Blogger's Before & After Guide to Chemical Peels

Considering a chemical peel? I recently underwent my first Jessner peel and thought I'd share my results, post a Jessner peel review, and answer some frequently asked chemical peel questions (I'm guessing that "Does a chemical peel hurt?" is a biggie!). I'd been planning to order an over-the-counter peel (this one specifically, which I still haven't tried but has great reviews) but my computer led me a different direction.

I decided to do this on a whim, after LivingSocial greeted me one morning with a great $40 chemical peel deal.
Now, I can read your mind. You just gasped in horror and thought You trusted your face to a discount chemical peel?! You're wondering where my mother was and why she didn't stop me. But not to worry. Really!
Here is my Jessner peel before and after:

Dream Home Dreaming

*Update*
We've finally broken ground on our mountain dream home! Can you believe it? Even more surprising, we actually managed to work a good chunk of this list into our actual design.

Original post:

Sexy Nerd wants to move up building our dream home to yesterday. I still don't know what I want though! Yes, it's difficult to decide on things like paint colors, flooring, and appliances. My problem is a bit worse.

Should we build one of those adorable 500 square feet mini houses? A (budget-friendly) mansion? A charming stone cottage?

Ultra-modern??

The internet makes it easy to find great design ideas for building our dream house. The downside is that all my favorite photos combine to make an overpriced, mismatched conglomeration.

According to my Pinterest account, my dream house has:

...a dramatic front entrance...
 ...a charming brick fireplace...
...this eye-catching wall of mirrors...
...stone accents like these...
....a copper apron sink...
...a floor-to-ceiling windo…
